Soy Sauce Pan Fried Noodles - This classic Cantonese soy sauce pan fried noodles is amazingly tasty for a dish so simple and easy to make. Perfect dish for a busy week!
For the Seasoning Sauce
For the Vegetables
  • 4 oz beansprouts
  • 2 oz snow peas, thinly sliced
For the Garnish
  • Sesame seeds
  1. Add 8 cups of water in a pot at medium heat and bring to boil.
  2. Add egg noodles, stir and remove after 30 seconds. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat wok on high heat and add oil. Allow oil to heat up before adding noodles.
  4. Add all the seasonings and stir with wooden spoon or chopsticks to combine well.
  5. Add the vegetables, toss to combine and stir another 30 seconds. Transfer into serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds.
I add a little chili paste to give it a little spice, but that is totally optional. Omit if cooking for kids.
You can use fresh egg noodles, or dried ones and cook them according to package instructions. The thinner the noodles the better. Do not confuse for wonton dumpling noodles used for soup.
