Now you can make these crispy, delicious copycat Luna Grill feta fries at home in less than 10 minutes! It’s cheaper and faster than buying it from the store and you can make as much as you like!
For those who have never tried feta fries at Luna Grill, they are golden, super crispy fries that are sprinkled with crumbly feta cheese while piping hot. The feta slightly melts on contact with the fries and is warm and soft as it dissolves in your mouth. It’s also sprinkled with a little oregano and lemon juice to add a slight herbal tang to the flavor, which goes so well with the saltiness of the feta cheese and fries. Hmmmm…so YUMMY!
I’ve seen feta fries at Greek Festivals and restaurants and they normally serve them with yogurt which is nice, but I still prefer to have my fries with Ketchup (tomato sauce).
This is the easiest copycat recipe that literally tastes the same as Luna Grill! What’s so easy and quick about this recipe is that I just used a packet of frozen french fries so I don’t have to bother with choosing the perfect potato with the right starch content, soak it for 1 hour or double fry it to make sure it is crispy. The key is to buy a bag of good frozen french fries. I used Ore-Ida, extra crispy fast food fries as it’s the best match.
So, on the left hand side below is the original feta fries from Luna Grill and on the right is my copycat version, it tastes the same! There might be a slight difference in the brand of feta cheese you use but overall it is just as good as the real thing! Give it a try!
