SoCal VegFest 2015
What an amazing day at the first annual SoCal VegFest! It’s one-of-a-kind event that inspires and promotes healthy vegetarian living. The best part about it for foodies, of course, is the food samplings – and they are all so delicious and FREE!
When asked if I wanted to take a picture with “Happy Cow”, I was thrilled. Why not, it’s my favorite site for looking up vegetarian restaurants whenever I travel anywhere around the world.
When I was living in Seattle, I’ve gone to Seattle VegFest several times. As a vegetarian, I enjoy going to these types of events to be inspired by like-minded people and also to check out what new food products are coming to the market place.
In Seattle I used to pay $5 entrance fee. It was well worth it for the amount of food I chowed down during one visit! Besides the food, I found it very educational to listen to guest speakers and attending the cooking demonstrations.
For a lovely surprise, this SoCal VegFest was completely free! It was everything that I liked about VegFest. It came with live music too. How’s that for icing on the cake!
